Open PhotoAssembly, tap the "+" button on the canvas to import photos from your camera or photo library, then drag, resize and rotate each one until the composition looks right. When you're happy with it, tap Export to save the merged image.
Select a photo already on the canvas and choose the cutout tool. PhotoAssembly detects the main subject and removes the background automatically, entirely on your device — no photo is sent anywhere for this to happen.
You can export in a square (1:1) ratio, a story/portrait ratio, or a fully free-form layout that follows the exact bounds of what you've arranged on the canvas.
No. Photo import, editing, cutouts and export are all processed locally on your device. PhotoAssembly does not upload your photos to any server we operate. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Some features are unlocked by watching a short rewarded video ad, served through Google AdMob. You always choose whether to watch an ad before it plays. This helps keep PhotoAssembly free to use.
iOS shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt so PhotoAssembly can ask for permission to use your device's advertising identifier for more relevant ads. You can decline this — the app and its features work exactly the same either way, you'll simply see non-personalized ads.
Check Settings → PhotoAssembly on your iPhone and make sure Camera and Photos access are allowed. Photo access lets you import images to merge; Camera access lets you capture a new photo directly from the app; both are only used for the action you request.
